Their volunteers help physically challenged sportsmen and women enjoy the outdoors in Minnesota. Disabled Outdoorsmen creates an inclusive hunting program for people with disabilities. Their main focus is to deliver an unforgettable experience that was previously not possible. Helping people take their minds off of daily struggles is what drives Disabled Outdoorsmen to serve the community.

Free kids hunting trips, the Kids Hunting Foundation was set up to help less fortunate kids to go on free hunting trips. Many kids would love to go hunting, or enjoy other outdoor activities, but their circumstances may not allow them to.

Getting outdoors in pursuit of squirrels, rabbits and other small game is the focus of Take a Kid Hunting Weekend.
On the Saturday and Sunday of this weekend, adult Minnesota residents accompanied by a youth younger than age 16 can hunt small game without a license but must comply with open seasons, limits and other regulations found in the Minnesota hunting regulations.

Legacy Christian Academy offers students in grades 6-12 the opportunity to compete in the fastest-growing MSHSL sponsored activity, Clay Target. Clay Target is great for physical activity, group cooperation, and the student socialization it provides. Students at LCA can earn lettering points by participating in Clay Target and given the flexible schedule can participate alongside another LCA sport.

The Richfield High School and Academy of Holy Angels Shooting Sports /club was started by Head Coach, Bob Brotzel during the Winter of 2013., The club takes part in four shotgun disciplines, trap, skeet, sporting clays, and 5-Stand. The club shoots in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. We take Athletes year round. Athletes have to be a Richfield or Holy Angels student or from their middle schools. The club is made up of 6th through 12th grade, females and males. Club information can be found on the Academy of Holy Angels Sports page.

The youth of today represent the future of hunting in the USA. Since 1986 the Youth Hunting Club of Minnesota has been creating and offering hunting camps on the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club property in Prior Lake, MN. One of the oldest youth hunting programs in the country, the Youth Hunting Club of Minnesota is for boys and girls, 12-16 years old.
